Newly diagnosed

It’s never easy when somebody in the family is diagnosed with Coeliac disease and has to follow a gluten free diet. The person who’s been diagnosed takes time to come to terms with having to follow a gluten free diet and having to cut out gluten can make you feel a bit strange until your body gets settled into the new way of eating.

The pressure then falls on the meal maker who tries to cook gluten free dishes for the newly diagnosed as well as standard meals for the rest of the family. This is time consuming which is always an issue in today’s busy world as well as making the Coeliac feel strange and different.

Why not make the same meal for all the family, with the increase in quality of gluten free products, it’s harder to tell the difference between gluten free and standard products and if all the family are eating the same great tasting food nobody is made to feel different.
